The Spanish player turns 27 today and seemed surprised and happy with the crowd's nice gesture. Roland Garros staff came in court with a huge birthday cake featuring tennis motifs but Nadal didn't stay in court to eat it, although British Eurosport commentators kept saying he never missed a chance of trying his RG cake.
Maybe the match wasn't that tough and he just wasn't feeling the need for extra sugar, maybe he will eat a piece of the gorgeous cake away from cameras and everyone's eyes :)
